How Many Solid Members are the Mormons Losing?

This morning I got an email from an old friend. We were very close while we lived here in Austin but have fallen out of touch since he moved away. Both he and his wife grew up in the church, served Mormon missions in Latin America, married in the temple, and were very active in the church. I believe that he has been in the bishopric.

He wants to talk to me because he has heard, presumably through my sister, that I have "issues" with the church. Apparently his wife has completely left the church and he is "very conflicted." Sounds like a familiar situation.

As JLO's wife said, "Maybe you guys should start a club."

This just further illustrates the point that those that leave the church are those that had weak testimonies and were never really committed in the first place. Or maybe not. Go Gordon!

Me too. When I was in the church, I worked hard at being a good Mormon girl...

I was all the way. That's part of the reason admitting it was a giant fraud was so hard to do.
